Been in home studio all day today with Paulie demoing a new tune called “Makin’ Changes” - I’m excited to get into the studio and record. This song’s a sort of “coming out” song in that I’m celebrating my recent epiphany that I had about my sexuality. Still got a few bits and bobs to figure out in terms of arrangements but sounding pretty sweeeet xx

This morning I woke to the announcement of this year’s SAY Award longlist! I’m truly over the moon to have my debt album up there with 19 other INCREDIBLE artists and their albums. Lots of friends from the jazz scene on here too - safe to say Scotland’s music scene is ALIVE and POPPIN’. I’m very proud of this body of work and it means the world to get some recognition for it. I’m BEYOND excited to be headed into the studio very soon to create some new tunes for y’all.
